On Thanksgiving Day of 2011 Sean’s life changed radically, he had a massive stroke.
He was in an induced coma for 10 days, he had a craniectomy, they stored a piece of his skull in his stomach and the doctors informed his family that he might not come out of it.
He remained strong, and the doctors and his will to live saved his life, although the final diagnosis was equally heartbreaking: he would not be able to speak or walk and would be dependent on his loved ones forever.
Twelve years have passed and that same will to live allowed him to prove to the world and to himself that he could overcome his diagnosis and give hope to the world.
Along with it, he hacked his stroke: he tried virtually everything, he also learned from his mistakes and made his personal mission to help people in a similar situation to his to have a better recovery.
